Description
ZHP magnesia-spinel filler is a highly refractory granular material based on magnesium oxide (MgO) and magnesia-aluminate spinel (MgAl₂O₄). The filler is characterised by high thermal stability, resistance to sudden temperature changes and increased slag and corrosion resistance. The presence of the spinel phase ensures structural stability and reduces the tendency to crack under thermal loads.
The material is widely used in the manufacture of refractory concretes, ramming and casting mixes for linings of thermal units in the metallurgical, cement and chemical industries.
