Description
PPO-85 oil-coated perclaz powder is a refractory powder material based on perclaz with a magnesium oxide content of at least 85%, modified with an organic binder. The material is intended for use in refractory mixtures and masses where good formability, plasticity and stability during laying and compaction are required.
Oiling the powder improves the flowability of the material, reduces dust formation and ensures uniform distribution in the refractory mass.
PPO-85 powder is widely used in the manufacture of ramming and repair refractory masses, as well as in refractory work in metallurgical units.
After the organic binder burns out during heating, the PPO-85 oil-coated powder forms a dense and heat-resistant structure that is resistant to high temperatures and basic slags.
Scope of application
- rammed and repair refractory masses
- dry refractory mixtures with organic binder
- lining of metallurgical units
- steel-making and electric arc furnaces
