Description
PMS-3 powder is a refractory powder material based on sintered slag, designed for use in refractory mixtures and compounds operating in high temperatures and aggressive metallurgical environments. The material is characterised by a stable chemical composition, good thermal stability and high processability during processing.
PMS-3 powder is widely used in the production of dry refractory mixtures, ramming, repair and gunning mixes, as well as in the manufacture of unshaped refractory materials. The homogeneous structure and optimal dispersibility ensure uniform distribution of the powder in the mixture, good compactability and stable performance characteristics of the finished refractories.
Due to its high magnesium oxide content, PMS-3 powder ensures reliable operation of metallurgical unit linings, resistant to temperature changes and the effects of basic slags.
Scope of application
- production of refractory dry mixtures and masses
- shotcrete masses, ramming and repair refractories
- manufacture of unshaped refractory materials
- lining of steelmaking, induction and electric arc furnaces
