Description
PMS-5 periclase powder is a refractory powder material based on periclase with a reduced magnesium oxide content, designed for use in refractory mixtures and masses operating in high temperatures and under the influence of basic metallurgical environments. The material is distinguished by its stable quality, good processability and uniform structure.
PMS-5 powder is used in the production of dry refractory mixtures, ramming and repair masses, as well as unshaped refractory materials. The optimal particle size distribution ensures convenient dosing, good compactability and stable performance characteristics of the finished refractories.
Due to its balanced composition, PMS-5 cross-linked powder demonstrates reliable thermal stability, resistance to thermal shock and stable operation of metallurgical unit linings.
Scope of application
- production of refractory dry mixes and masses
- unshaped refractory materials
- repair of linings of metallurgical units
- steel-making and electric arc furnaces
