PMS-2 powder for electric furnaces

PMS-2 powder is a high-quality refractory powder material based on sintered slag, designed for use in metallurgy and the production of refractory materials. The material is distinguished by its stable chemical composition, high thermal stability and good processability when used in various refractory mixtures.

PMS-2 powder is widely used as a functional component in the manufacture of dry refractory mixtures, ramming and repair masses, as well as moulded products. Optimal dispersibility ensures uniform distribution in the mixture, good compactability and stable physical and mechanical properties of the finished materials.

Due to the high proportion of magnesium oxide, PMS-2 interlayer powder demonstrates resistance to aggressive slags and melts, retains its strength and structure during prolonged operation in conditions of extremely high temperatures.
