Description
Supercritical refractory concrete for metallurgy. DZNS Refractory Metal 1800 is a supercritical high-temperature refractory concrete in the form of a dry packaged mixture, designed for the most heavily loaded areas of metallurgical production with temperatures up to 1800 °C. The material is designed for stable and long-term operation in conditions of extreme thermal stress, aggressive slags, intense heat radiation and continuous production cycles.
Temperature resistance
- Maximum operating temperature: up to 1800 °C
- Recommended operating temperature: up to 1700 °C
Scope of application (metallurgy)
Used for:
- Lining blast furnaces, smelting and steelmaking furnaces;
- Areas of direct contact with flames and melts;
- High-temperature melting chambers;
- Continuous metallurgical units;
- Ladles, chutes and heat chambers;
- Particularly critical industrial areas.
Features of the metallurgical environment:
The material is specially adapted to:
- Extremely high temperatures;
- Aggressive effects of metallurgical slags;
- Intense heat radiation;
- Thermal shocks;
- Long continuous operating cycles.
Main advantages
- Supercritical heat resistance up to 1800 °C
- Exceptional mechanical strength after hardening
- High resistance to aggressive slags
- Minimal shrinkage even at extreme temperatures
- Stable microstructure without cracking
- Long-term operation in metallurgical conditions
Technical features
- Material type: dry concrete mix;
- Structure: dense, optimised for ultra-high temperatures;
- Binder: special supercritical mineral;
- Filler: high-purity refractory filler of a special grade;
- Heating behaviour: stable under prolonged exposure to temperatures up to 1800 °C.
Recommendations for use
- Mix with clean water until a homogeneous plastic mass is obtained;
- Apply to a thoroughly prepared and cleaned surface;
- Avoid rapid drying after application;
- Perform the first heating in stages and in a controlled manner, with a slow increase in temperature.
Packaging
