Description
DZNS Refractory Sugar 1100 is a specialised refractory concrete in the form of a dry packaged mixture, developed specifically for sugar factory equipment with operating temperatures up to 1100 °C. The material is adapted to conditions of high humidity, steam, temperature fluctuations and chemically active environments typical of sugar production.
Temperature resistance
- Maximum operating temperature: up to 1100 °C
- Recommended operating temperature: up to 1000 °C
Scope of application (sugar production)
Used for:
- Lining of thermal units in sugar factories;
- Drying drums;
- Heat generators;
- Chimneys and flues;
- Heating chambers and auxiliary heating zones;
- Repair work in operating sugar factories.
Features of operation in sugar factories:
The material is specially adapted to:
- Increased humidity;
- The effects of steam and condensate;
- Frequent starts and stops of equipment;
- Temperature fluctuations;
- Aggressive production environment.
Main advantages
- Stable operation in conditions of moisture and steam
- High thermal resistance up to 1100 °C
- Increased resistance to temperature cycles
- Minimal shrinkage after heating
- Good adhesion to metal and mineral bases
- Durability in the specific conditions of sugar production
Technical features
- Material type: dry concrete mix;
- Structure: dense, homogeneous;
- Binder: heat-resistant mineral, adapted to humid environments;
- Filler: refractory mineral filler;
- Behaviour when heated: stable, without delamination or crumbling.
Recommendations for use:
- Mix with clean water to a homogeneous plastic mass;
- Apply to a clean and prepared surface;
- Ensure smooth initial heating;
- Avoid sudden temperature changes at the start of operation.
