Description
FLEX is a highly elastic cementitious adhesive for laying porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles in conditions of increased deformation and temperature loads. Designed for complex substrates, underfloor heating systems and areas with intensive use. The adhesive provides maximum adhesion, elasticity and stability of the cladding without cracking or delamination.
Scope of application:
- Porcelain stoneware;
- Ceramic tiles;
- Walls and floors;
- Underfloor heating systems;
- Balconies, terraces, loggias
- Stairs;
- Indoor and outdoor work;
- Concrete;
- Cement and anhydrite screeds;
- Cement-sand and cement-lime plasters;
- Old tiles (after appropriate preparation).
Material base
- High-strength Portland cement;
- Fractionated quartz sand;
- Increased content of elastic redispersible polymers;
- Water-regulating and stabilising additives.
Method of preparation
- Pour the required amount of water into a clean container;
- Add the dry FLEX mixture;
- Mix with a mixer at low speed until a homogeneous mass is obtained;
- Leave for 5 minutes and mix again.
Application method
- Apply the adhesive to the substrate with a notched trowel;
- Be sure to use a combined method (adhesive on the substrate + a thin layer on the tile);
- Press the tile firmly and shift it slightly;
- Maintain compensation joints when tiling large areas.
Storage conditions
- Store in a dry place;
- In undamaged factory packaging;
- Shelf life: 12 months.
Packaging
- 25 kg bags;
- 1 tonne big bags.
