Perlicor Standart thermal insulation mixture

Perlicor Standart is a dry thermal insulation mixture based on lightweight mineral filler with the addition of inorganic binding components and stabilising additives. After mixing with water, it forms a homogeneous thermal insulation mass with good plasticity, convenient for manual application and shaping. The material provides reliable thermal protection for equipment, reducing heat loss and protecting structures from overheating.

Purpose and scope of application

Perlicor Standart thermal insulation dry mixture is designed for thermal insulation of industrial equipment, units and structures operating at medium and high temperatures.

It is used for:

• thermal insulation of boilers,
• heat exchangers,
• tanks;
• insulation of pipelines and gas ducts;
• filling thermal insulation cavities;
• application to metal and mineral surfaces;
• use in energy, municipal and industrial heat and power engineering.

Preparation and application

1. Mix the dry mixture with clean water until a plastic mass is obtained.
2. Mix mechanically.
3. Apply with a trowel, trowel or by throwing.
4. The recommended thickness of one layer is up to 40 mm.
5. If several layers are required, allow at least 10-12 hours for drying between layers.

Operating conditions

• Application temperature: from +5 °C.
• Initial setting: 6-8 hours
• Complete drying: 24-48 hours.
• Warm up the equipment gradually.

Packaging and storage

• Mini-bags: 20-25 kg
• Big bags: up to 1000 kg
• Shelf life: 12 months
• Store in dry, covered areas.

Safety

Use personal protective equipment during work: gloves, safety glasses, respirator. Avoid inhaling dust and contact with eyes.
