Description
PPK-85 powder is a highly refractory powdered material based on sintered refractory clay, designed for use in refractory mixtures and masses operating in high temperatures and aggressive metallurgical environments. The material is characterised by a stable chemical composition, good thermal stability and reliable performance characteristics.
PPK-85 powder is widely used in the production of dry refractory mixtures, ramming, repair and gunning mixes, as well as a raw material component for shaped and unshaped refractory products. Its homogeneous structure and optimal dispersibility ensure uniform distribution in mixtures and stability of the properties of finished materials.
Due to its high magnesium oxide content, PPK-85 powder has good slag resistance, resistance to thermal shock and ensures a long service life of metallurgical unit linings.
Scope of application
- production of refractory dry mixtures and masses
- manufacture of rammed and repair refractories
- moulded and unmoulded refractory products
- lining of steel-making and electric arc furnaces
