Description
PPK-88 perclaz powder is a highly refractory powdered material based on perclaz with a high magnesium oxide content, designed for use in the most thermally stressed and chemically aggressive areas of metallurgical production. The material is characterised by high thermal stability, dense structure and resistance to the effects of basic slags.
PPK-88 powder is used as a key component in the manufacture of refractory dry mixes, ramming and repair masses, as well as moulded and unmoulded refractory products. The finely dispersed and homogeneous structure ensures good processability, uniform distribution in the mixture and stable properties of the finished materials. Due to its high MgO content, PPK-88 powder ensures a long service life of linings and maintains its performance characteristics during prolonged operation in extremely high temperatures.
Scope of application
- production of refractory dry mixes and masses
- manufacture of moulded and unmoulded refractory products
- repair and lining of metallurgical units
- steel-making, induction and electric arc furnaces
