PPO-86 oil-coated powder

PPO-86 oil-coated periclase powder is a refractory powdered material based on periclase with a magnesium oxide content of at least 86%, modified with a special organic binder (oil coating). The material is intended for use in refractory mixtures and masses where increased plasticity, improved formability and structural stability during laying are required. Oiling of the powder ensures better flowability, reduced dust formation and uniform distribution of the material in the mixture.

PPO-86 powder is widely used in the production of ramming and repair refractory masses, as well as in refractory work in metallurgical units. Due to its high MgO content and the presence of an organic binder, PPO-86 oil-coated powder provides reliable heat resistance, resistance to the effects of basic slags and preservation of operational properties after the binder burns out during heating.
